Membership and Grades of Membership at the Institute of Graphoanalysts of Nigeria (IGAN)

The Institute of Graphoanalysts of Nigeria (IGAN) offers a structured membership program designed to cater to individuals at different stages of their graphology careers. Membership provides access to a range of resources, professional development opportunities, and a community of like-minded professionals.

Grades of Membership

1. Student Member

  • Eligibility: Open to individuals currently enrolled in IGAN’s training programs or other recognized graphology courses.
  • Benefits: Access to training materials, discounts on workshops and seminars, networking opportunities with experienced graphologists, and a subscription to IGAN’s newsletters and publications.

2. Associate Member (AIGAN)

  • Eligibility: Individuals who have completed the basic training program in graphology or an equivalent course and have begun practicing as graphologists.
  • Benefits: Access to advanced training modules, professional development resources, invitations to IGAN events, and listing in the IGAN directory of practitioners.

3. Full Member (MIGAN)

  • Eligibility: Practicing graphologists who have completed advanced training and have a minimum of three years of professional experience in the field.
  • Benefits: Full access to IGAN’s resources, eligibility to serve on committees, voting rights at the annual general meeting, and opportunities to contribute to research projects and publications.

4. Fellow (FIGAN)

  • Eligibility: Experienced graphologists who have made significant contributions to the field through research, practice, or education. Typically, candidates for fellowship must have at least ten years of professional experience.
  • Benefits: Recognition as a leader in the field, opportunities to mentor junior members, access to exclusive events and conferences, and eligibility to hold senior positions within the institute.

5. Honorary Member

  • Eligibility: Individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the field of graphology or to IGAN, but may not necessarily be practicing graphologists.
  • Benefits: Honorary members enjoy the same privileges as full members, including access to resources and events, without the requirement of paying membership fees.
